Visa Requirements

Unfortunately, visas for freelance work are seldom issued to non-citizens. In addition, Berlitz does not have the authority to obtain visas for any of our instructors. If you have a student visa for a university in Pakistan, this might give you eligibility to work for us on a freelance basis. If you are unsure about what your visa status would be in Pakistan, please contact nearest Pakistani Consulate for more information.

Hiring Procedure

Once we have received your application, we will contact you regarding an interview. Interviews are held at the language center during regular office hours. If you reside outside of Pakistan, please inform us as to when you are planning to be in the country so that we can set up a personal interview at the center. Please note that any costs incurred while travelling to the interview are covered by the applicant. After successful completion of the interview process, you will be invited to attend the Berlitz Instructor Training.

Teaching Contracts

We offer part-time, freelance teaching positions at our centers. Most of the classes are in the morning or evening hours. Applicants need not have prior experience teaching or certification for teaching English as a second language. We provide successful candidates with all of the training necessary to begin teaching at our company.

Getting Started

Our experience has shown that you will initially need to bring approximately $2,500 - $3,500 (Rs15,0000 - Rs20,0000) with you to budget for an acquiring an apartment or similar accommodation, day-to-day living expenses and miscellaneous expenses that can be incurred until your first pay period. It is also necessary to open a bank account which facilitates the transfer of monthly wages, payment of bills, etc.
