Visa Requirements

To be employed by Berlitz Argentina, you need to have either a student or a permanent visa. Unfortunately, Berlitz does not have the authority to obtain visas for any of our instructors. If you are unsure about what your visa status would be in Argentina, please contact your nearest Argentinean consulate for more information.

Hiring Procedure

Once we have received your application, we will contact you regarding an interview. All applicants are interviewed personally by Berlitz in Argentina. If you reside outside of Argentina, please inform us as to when you are planning to be in the country so that we can set up an interview. Any costs incurred while travelling to the interview are paid by the applicant. After successful completion of the interview process, you will be invited to attend the Berlitz Instructor Training.

Teaching Contracts

We offer full-time and part-time teaching positions at our centers. Previous teaching experience or certification for teaching English as a second language is preferable. We provide suitable candidates with all of the training to begin teaching at our company.

Getting Started

Our experience has shown that you will initially need to bring approximately US$1,500 - US$2,000 with you to budget for renting an apartment or similar accommodation, day-to-day living expenses and miscellaneous expenses that can be incurred until your first pay period.
